Swiss insurtech company, SafeSide Life AG, prides itself on offering its customers transparent and user-friendly life insurance. Where traditional paper-based insurance is opaque, the client wanted to develop a straightforward, fully-digital alternative that offers its users full transparency.
SafeSide’s intention was to create a cutting-edge, user-friendly insurance platform that could facilitate the quick and seamless purchase of digital insurance policies.
We came on board as a software development partner to help SafeSide turn its partially developed MVP concept into a market-ready product, guiding the client right through development and launch.

Refining the vision
The project kicked off with a three-day product design workshop, whereby ELEKS’ business analysts, plus design and engineering specialists, got to grips with refining the product’s functional requirements and development strategy.

Leaning on our expertise in innovative technologies, we helped SafeSide develop a totally unique insurance solution seen nowhere else in the market. The tool can completely digitize the underwriting process while calculating insurance coverage for users in less than three minutes, enabling them to make a paperless application and receive provisional cover in a streamlined and simple way.
End-to-end process coverage
An intuitive policy builder tool and enhanced calculation module enables the new SafeSide platform to take care of the insurance process end-to-end, from choosing base cover and add-ons to creating the paperless policy application.
